The marae

 The Marae

“Haere mai e manu heri haere mai”...As they wait by the waharoa (entrance or gate)  I continue to call and then they start to take baby steps and then they pause.

While they pause to say a little prayer for twenty seconds... I stop take a deep breath because ground I am quite nervous and there is a whole lots of people. When they come closer and closer and when they finished before they can come in they have to take of their shoes.

The Racer

The Racer

Vroom vroom vroom WOW!  How is that possible for a little girl like me. She is so good at riding a mini bike. she knows how to jump

I can see a little girl riding on her mini motor cycle .Her dad is watching her and telling her what to press and how to ride. She might be practicing for a racing competition. It looks like she knows how ride it  because she can jump high  and ride fast with out falling.

I can feel the the dirt coming to me as she rides on the bike.I can hear the bike go vroom vroom vroom.I wish I can be like her one day so I can be popular riding on a mini motor bike.I am so excited to have a try when I am older.

doing my homework

Doing my homework

In the afternoon at school I was with my teacher in the classroom he was teaching me my spelling words I had to do for homework.

I had a choice either it was maths or spelling and I spelling because I chose spelling because you never know you might have a spelling test. “Mr Joseph after school can you give me some hard words to spell please” I asked him , “OK” said Mr Joseph.

The colour of the chair was aqua and the colour of the walls are  light blue and it looks like the ocean.
I have a green shirt on with white stripes and I  am wearing black pants. Mr Joseph was wearing a brown top that looks like chocolate and he is wearing black pants just like me.

Next year I am going to find the same clothes.

Cats

Cats

Cats are mammals. When cats wag their tails it means that they don’t like it, that’s when they scratch you. They eat canned food and biscuits. Cats are tame animals that are kept as pets.

Cats can be different colours like black, brown, ginger and white. They can have different colour eyes like brown,  black and blue. They have long tails like snakes.

Cats are tamed in Egypt. Cats were kept to kill the mice that are in peoples houses and that scare them.

Mary Mackillop centre

Visiting  Mary Mackillop Centre

Here I am sitting in the Mary Mackillop centre chapel where father Peter and some of the sisters of saint Mary Mackillop.

During the mass that father Peter prepared for us ,one of the sisters of the mary Mackillop Centre named sister Elizabeth said that she had been working at Christ the king school  when there were only two classes and she was working with the years ones and twos.

Saint Mary Mackillop

 Saint Mary Mackillop

I am known as Mary Helen Mackillop I was born in Melbourne
on the  15 January 1842. My parents were born in Scotland and came to live in Australia. She had three sisters and four brothers.I care about people who has no one to look after them such as boys and girls who just roamed the streets , children in the country who had no school to go to, people who were old and sick and people who had no where to live. I wanted more that anything to help these people.I went to work as a teacher in a little country town in south Australia called Penola.I was educated to private school but chiefly by my father who had studied for the priesthood at Rome. To help my family I became in turn a shopgirl ,  a governess and at Portland a   small boarding school for girls. As I grew to womanhood I was probably influenced by an early friend of the family , father patrick geoghegan , and began to yearn for a strictly penitential form of a  religious life.

N.Z Auckland Playhouse

N.Z Auckland Playhouse
On Wednesday the 12 of November at 11:30 after morning tea we went down to the  Christ the king hall we saw a Rapunzel setup,  there were three characters named Ben , Jane and Jack. Jane was acting as Rapunzel , Ben acted as Rupee and Jack acted as Simon cow.

The auditions started for the Rap-Rapunzel with x factor idol first was Sleeping Beauty her talent was sleeping peacefully but suddenly...there goes a snoring sound that does not sound peaceful at all.

I think that the all ages should be allowed to watch because for the kids it has slapstick humour and for the adults it has sophisticated humour.
